How was your week? For me, sometimes the week goes by really fast and this was one of them.
I am currently working on a craft project. I purchased a wooden letter “H” and am covering it with buttons. I’m sure you’ve seen a bunch of these on Pinterest.
The project is temporarily on hold as I ran out of white and pale colored buttons. I think it’s only natural to think of this Pussycat Dolls video, Buttons, every time I hear the word buttons.
This was just a couple of days ago and I can’t remember why exactly I was googling the word, chenille. I’m pretty sure it was a comment or something on Facebook and as soon as I post this I’ll remember.
The point is I googled it because I was trying to think how I would describe chenille to someone who didn’t know. All I could think of was to say, you know, like a chenille bedspread. Obviously that definition is lacking in substance so I looked it up.
1. a tufted velvety cord or yarn, used for trimming furniture and making carpets and clothing.
And you will be greatly relieved to know I remembered why I googled it. I am going to post the above photo to my, life with a side of awesome Facebook page and wanted to know the definition. I will still probably describe it using a bedspread as a reference…haha!!
A map of Dallas Love Field. Specifically, I was looking for where the baggage claim was located for non-Southwest Airlines flights. I ended up not actually finding it, but my granddaughter who was at the airport and needed the info, did.
The above mentioned granddaughter is moving to Beaufort, SC with her Marine husband…OORAH!! The discussion came up that Dollywood was located there. It is not. It is in Pigeon Forge, TN. Close…but not quite. 😉
Last but not least I googled 30 day fitness challenges. There are a lot of them out there and my online workout encouragement group is doing this one for the month of June.
Stay awesome!! ~lisa
